Notification No. 33/ 2014-Customs (N.T.)

New Delhi, the 25^th April, 2014

S.O.    (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Export), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad Maharashtra to act as a Common Adjudicating Authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
              
(i)           the Additional Commissioner of Customs (Export), Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Export), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad Maharashtra;
(ii)          the Additional Commissioner of  Customs, Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom  House,  Nhava Sheva;           
(iii)          the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Office of the Commissioner of        Customs (Export), Custom House, 60, Rajaji Salai, Chennai; 
(iv)         the Additional Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Near Balaji Temple, Kandla; and
(v)           the Additional Commissioner of Customs, (PPG), Inland Container Depot,     Tughlakabad, Delhi,    
 
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to M/s Mehroon International, Surat, M/s Saad International, Surat and M/s Mujtaba International, Surat  and others issued vide, F.No.DRI/MZU/F/13/2010 dated the 21^st  October, 2013 by the Additional Director, Directorate  of Revenue Intelligence,  Mumbai Zonal Unit, Mumbai.
