S.O.(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act,1992, as amended, read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14 the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in respect of Sl. No. 179 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items as under:
“Sl. No.179 of Chapter 44 of Schedule 2 of the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items prohibits export of wood charcoal. This prohibition will not apply to Bhutan”.
2. Effect of this notification:
There will be no prohibition on export of wood charcoal to Bhutan.
