S.O.          (E). – In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby appoints the Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs, Commissionerate of Customs (Preventive),  NCRB  Statue Circle, C-Scheme, Jaipur to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on-
 
(i)  The Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs, Commissionerate of Customs
      (Preventive),NCRB Statue Circle, C-Scheme, Jaipur       and
(ii) The Additional/Joint Commissioner of Customs  and  Central Excise, Commissionerate,
      Goa, 
 
for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice  pertaining to Mr. Syed Ahmad Altaf issued vide,  DRI F.No. 840/JPR/19-XXV/2012/1393   dated the 05^th August, 2013  by the  Additional Director, Directorate  of Revenue Intelligence,  Regional Unit, Jaipur.
